This morning’s update is later than usual because we were waiting to see if ERCOT would be cancelling the Energy Emergency Alert.

As of 10:36 a.m., ERCOT cancelled the Energy Emergency Alert status and is reporting normal grid conditions. Our Medina EC members have not experienced any forced outages since 1 a.m. Thursday morning and we are extremely thankful for that, as we know members are as well. 

The last few days have been very tough on our members and on Texans across the state.

We will continue to monitor the situation and provide updates if it changes.
