Medina Electric Cooperative is proud to announce that one of its employees, Katie Haby, has achieved the designation of Certified Key Accounts Executive (CKAE®) through the National Rural Electric Cooperative Association (NRECA).
Trey Grebe, CEO of Medina Electric Cooperative, shared the news of Haby's accomplishment, emphasizing the significance of this certification in the cooperative's mission to enhance service to commercial and industrial accounts. "The CKAE® certification is a testament to Haby's commitment to professional excellence and our cooperative's dedication to providing exceptional service to our key accounts," Grebe stated.
Since its inception in 1998, the CKAE® program has seen over 600 rural electric marketing professionals earn this certification. The program, entirely voluntary, is designed to elevate the standards of professional sales management within the industry.
To achieve the CKAE® certification, Haby successfully completed a rigorous series of coursework, passed a comprehensive exam, and submitted detailed business and marketing plans for evaluation. These plans were thoroughly reviewed by an external business professional, who assessed them for their content and strategic insight.
"The CKAE® program equips our team with the tools needed to establish clear business goals, identify key-account profiles, and apply sound decision-making processes," Grebe added. "Haby's achievement not only highlights her dedication but also strengthens our cooperative's ability to serve our community effectively."
With Haby's certification, Medina Electric Cooperative now proudly has two CKAE® professionals on staff, including Michael Harkins, enhancing our ability to serve our members with even greater expertise and dedication.
Medina Electric Cooperative congratulates Haby for this significant achievement and looks forward to the enhanced expertise she brings to the cooperative's continued success.
