Medina Electric Cooperative held member nominating meetings in February.  Co-op members who wish to run for a position on the Medina EC Board of Directors will need to be nominated by petition and complete the paperwork required for all nominees.

The petition process requires a potential nominee to acquire at least 30 valid signatures of Medina EC members in the voting district the nominee wishes to run in. Completed petitions and all nominee paperwork is due to Medina EC by April 10. You can learn more about the petition process, download a petition and find all required paperwork at MedinaEC.org/Nominee.

As a not-for-profit electric cooperative, Medina EC is run by a nine-person board of directors voted on by the membership. Each one of Medina EC’s three voting districts has a position open for election each year. Elections generally take place in September and results will be announced at Medina EC’s annual meeting later in September.
