Medina Electric Cooperative is accepting applications for the 2024 Youth Tour trip. Three winners will each receive a $1,000 scholarship and an all-expenses-paid trip to Washington, D.C. The trip will take place June 16 – 23, 2024. 

Youth Tour is an action-packed trip to the U.S. capitol with more than 150 students and chaperones from across Texas. Once in Washington, D.C., students will visit Arlington National Cemetery, Mount Vernon, the Smithsonian Institution, memorials and more. Activities include learning about rural electrification, meeting elected officials, seeing a performance at the Kennedy Center, and going on a boat cruise with dinner and dancing.
