Crews are going to work through the night to continue to restore power to individual members who remain without.
Restoration Estimates: Please note - these are only estimates and can change. We also recognize that with the current weather in other areas of our system and rain in Medina County, these numbers could change. We will post our next update around 11a.m. Saturday unless there is a substantial change before that.
- Castroville, Bader, Rio Medina and Dunlay – The power supplier rebuilt all transmission lines and began re-energizing them as of 4:30 p.m. Crews have been slowly bringing small groups of members back online. They have been able to restore a large number of meters in that area, working from 2,000 down to 400; however, we know there is a possibility of finding additional damage. Expect some individual outages to go through the evening. However, crews will be working in the area to visit all locations and make all necessary repairs.
- D’Hanis, Natalia – There are still 32 meters off. Those are individual outages and linemen are working on visiting locations and restoring them. We can not provide an exact time.
- Hondo – There are still about 160 isolated outages that crews are working on individually. We can not provide an exact time.
- Uvalde County - We are down to 20 meters without power in this area. We can not provide an exact time.
We have made significant progress but it will take time to restore power to the remaining meters; many are in areas difficult to access or spread out and it will take time for crews to get to all the locations.
