Effective January 1, 2020, Medina Electric Cooperative, Inc. will change the power factor adjustment on the Large Commercial rate from 90% to 97%.
This rate change is being made due to the requirement from the Electric Reliability Council of Texas that distribution systems maintain at least a 97% power factor.
